I thought I might share with you a new magazine that I purchased recently. It is not exactly new new as it is on it's third issue, and it comes out every other month, but it is new to me. The cover just sold it to me, with the lovely Robin, berries, ribbon candles etc. I mean, how Christmassey can you get!
Seriously though, it is a beautifully presented magazine with really interesting articles. If you are into countryside issues, nature, cooking, crafts, interiors...it has it all.
I love the fact that it is so festive, but in a non-blingy way. I do apologise I seem to be making up my own words today. You know what I mean though.
And a little sneak peek at what to expect in the next issue..................................................................
Wishing you all a fun-filled and not too chilly week, with love, Linda x

- Hello and welcome to my blog. If you like flowers and gardens, housey stuff, food and banter, then this is the place for you. I am a decorative artist, florist and maker of things. I sell painted furniture, plants and crafts, through a local retail shop, in my native Ireland, and wedding flowers from home. I am married to a lovely patient man and have a smashing little girl. I blog for the fun of it. Thank you for listening.
I love to look at magazines like this and pretend. Kind of like reading Town and Country or Architectural Digest.

Hi Linda. Love your header by the way. I have never heard of this Magazine, but I shall definitely look out for it the next time I pop to the Newsagents. It looks like just the sort of thing I would like to browse through. Always good to see a new post from you! x
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean by non-blingy. The pictures remind me of a magazine I used to love - the original Victoria Magazine. Sigh. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for your sweet words over at my little blog. Lucky, lucky me to have found such a sweet friend in Ireland!
Big hugs,
Zuzu
If it's bright, sunny, colourful and has red in it, I love it! All very beautiful and colourful! I love it! I buy lots of magazines and will be looking for this one, tomorrow!

Hi Linda, love your new winter whites banner - beautiful images, and the painted words from one of my fav books and films are so evocative.
ReplyDeleteHave never seen or heard of this mag so thanks for bringing it to our attention - i shall see if i can find it as it looks great.I'm finding many of my previously fav magazines seem to be a bit samey and dont quite tick the boxes anymore.
Have a good week Linda
Gill xx
Ps Linda, when looking again at your lovely header I realised what a wonderful showcase it is for the decorative work you do - the painted letters, the wedding flowers etc - It didnt click first time looking that I was seeing your own lovely design works.
