I sell painted furniture, plants and crafts, through a local retail shop, in my native Ireland, and wedding flowers from home. I am married to a lovely patient man and have a smashing little girl. Happy Mother's Day!

Have a lovely Mother's Day, all you mum's out there. I thought I would share the lovely card my daughter Lois made for me. She made it so that the flowers can be taken out and arranged, as she knows that's what I like to do. I just love it!

  1. Hi Linda,
Happy Mothersday! In Holland it's in May so I have to wait a little longer for my "flowers", love yours, have a good Sunday!

  2. That's such a beautiful and colourful card that Lois has made for you on this Mothering Sunday! She's obviously getting all her creative talents from her mum. I'm feeling very blessed this morning with all the love coming from my two daughters. We are so blessed!

  3. That's lovely. Clever girl.

My MIL is here for lunch - a nice roast (still in the oven) to be followed by her favourite dessert - panna cotta. First time I've made it and a peek in the fridge showed it's looking good. Fingers crossed.

    Enjoy your afternoon too.

  4. Make the most of it. My teens have forgotten!

  5. Hi Linda,

What a lovely card your daughter made for you! Enjoy your mother's day!

    lieve groet, Madelief

  6. Very practical and pretty card indeed. I was thrown out a little by happy mothers day heading of your blog. I figured it out now. Smart!

  7. Hope you had a lovely day and what a sweet idea for your Mother's day card. She must have spent ages making that for you.

    I am your newest follower!

  9. This is adorable! I love that the flowers are removable - what a smart little cookie you've got there!
And I'm so delighted that you are my 500th follower! You've certainly made my day... and yes, I guess I do have a bit of a turquoise thing going on! xo

  10. What a wonderful card - clever daughter!!! (Must take after Mum!)

  11. What a beautiful card!
I am Irish living in Australia. Mothers day is in may here so i really have to be careful to remember the date for "Irish mothers day" too or my mum in Dublin would not be happy. She gets a second card in may too so she doesn't do too badly!

I love to hear your comments.....
