Hello and welcome to my blog. If you like flowers and gardens, housey stuff, food and banter, then this is the place for you. I am a decorative artist, florist and maker of things. I sell painted furniture, plants and crafts, through a local retail shop, in my native Ireland, and wedding flowers from home. I am married to a lovely patient man and have a smashing little girl. creative juices

Oh dear, I have been having so much fun, being at home playing on the computer. You are all going to be so bored with me.Not only is Pinterest lighting up my days, but now I've found Picnik. I'm sorry, but before I started blogging I was afraid of technology, I had not long learned how to text! For those of you who don't know, Picnik is a  site where you can upload your photos and mess about with them, making collages and overprinting with words, it is tremendous fun, but does zap your time. Hey ho I am making hay while the sun shines, once back to full health I have a TON of work to do, so I won't be able to play! See what you think of my messing.......

I do feel now, after I have had my play that I need to go and create something physically, I am not sure what, I might bake or sew or paint. Anyway I will be taking a little break from the computer for a couple of days so that I can concentrate. I wish you all a very happy and productive rest of the week. Much love Linda x

  1. Hello Linda:
Gosh! Golly gosh! We are amazed. And we thought picnics were about pork pies and car rugs on the ground [with a bottle of something if one was really pushing the boat out].

These are absolutely wonderful but clearly the result of some careful image choices and co-ordinated effects. We love them!

  5. I've been having a play with my photos too and it is very rewarding. I particularly like the layout of the party pics.
I know what you mean about needing to get away from the computer and yes, it does steal your time!
    Enjoy your week,
    Becky x

  6. Great fun all these things we are learning! My new motto is to blog without feeling obliged to do so, therefore I thoroughly approve of you feeling able to take a break. I cannot keep up with those that blog too often anyway!
We did enjoy the wedding, thanks for asking. :)

  7. What a wonderful way to display all your lovely pictures. I still have not found time to master Pinterest, but will have a look at Picnik. I am a bit impatient, and if I don't grasp things straight away, then I get cross with myself for not being able to do something!
Thank you again for leaving your kind comments on my post, and as always I am most grateful.
I hope you have an enjoyable and creative few days.
    Love Abby xx
