My oh my it's a wonderful day. Hello kids and kittens, I am feeling very happy today, not only because it is the most beautiful sunshiney day, but because I have had keyhole surgery to remove my gallbladder and I am so relieved that its all over! Hurrah! I was operated on on Wednesday afternoon and got home yesterday afternoon. It is wonderful that it can all be done so quickly these days. So a big thankyou to Miss Minford the surgeon and all the other doctors and nurses who took such good care of me.
But now I am going to pour myself a lovely pink drink, non-alcoholic of course and sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the garden and birdsong, and thank my lucky stars!

Hello Linda:
ReplyDeleteWhat relief you must be feeling now that your gall bladder operation is over. And, surely now each day will bring you greater strength and a return to full fitness. We are so pleased for you at this wonderful news.
And, what better way to celebrate than to have a summery drink in your beautiful garden and just soak up the sunshine. Enjoy!!
Dear Linda, So glad to hear you came through your surgery ok ~ how wonderful that they were able to do it 'keyhole' (no such thing when I had mine out 22 yrs ago!), and so glad to hear that you're feeling so well and enjoying the sunshine! And thank you for sharing such lovely images for us to enjoy too! Love Brenda
ReplyDeleteGlad it's all over Linda! I bet you're mightily relieved! As you say, it's amazing what they can do these days. Don't forget to take it easy for a while!! (Just spend your time checking out the images on Pinterest!! Hee Hee!!)> Stunning photos you have come up with again today. I absolutely love the one with the table and the lamps hanging down. Have a wonderful weekend. At last the sun is shining, and it's much warmer. YAY!!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear everything went well! enjoy the weekend and your drink!!! a big kiss
ReplyDeleteIsn't the weather just glorious?!! Long may it continue! Glad the surgery went well and you are out and about! Relax and take it easy for a while and enjoy your very pretty garden! Cx
ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry to read you have been in hospital having your gallbladder removed. I am very pleased for you that it is all over with and you are at home enjoying a drink in the sunshine. My friend had the same procedure and was very poorly beforehand (she was so much better afterwards), so I hope you did not suffer too much before you went into hospital. You must take this opportunity to relax and let others look after you for a change, something I am sure they are doing :) Love Abby xx
ReplyDeleteHi Linda!
ReplyDeleteBig Hug!!! So glad for you that its all over - you must be on top of the world! I had that feeling last year after few nasty procedures and being told I dont have to go back for 5 years!
Does make you view life differently though doesnt it? - you want to kind of get every bit out of life that you can!
Now you can just relax and enjoy your garden whilst you get over it all.
Lovely pics!
Gill xx

Linda, You must be relieved that it is all over.
ReplyDeleteKeyhole surgery has come on immensely, when I was nursing you would have been in hospital for at least a week for a gallbladder removal!
Enjoy your recovery time and take it easy...
