Zippity Doo Dah!

image from here.
My oh my it's a wonderful day. Hello kids and kittens, I am feeling very happy today, not only because it is the most beautiful sunshiney day, but because I have had  keyhole surgery to remove my gallbladder and I am so relieved that its all over! Hurrah! I was operated on on Wednesday afternoon and got home yesterday afternoon. It is wonderful that it can all be done so quickly these days. So a big thankyou to Miss Minford the surgeon and all the other doctors and nurses who took such good care of me.

But now I am going to pour myself a lovely pink drink, non-alcoholic of course and sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the garden and birdsong, and thank my lucky stars!

I hope you are all having a lovely day wherever you are in this "wonderful world",love Linda x.

  6. I am so very sorry to read you have been in hospital having your gallbladder removed. I am very pleased for you that it is all over with and you are at home enjoying a drink in the sunshine. My friend had the same procedure and was very poorly beforehand (she was so much better afterwards), so I hope you did not suffer too much before you went into hospital. You must take this opportunity to relax and let others look after you for a change, something I am sure they are doing :) Love Abby xx

  7. Hi Linda!
Big Hug!!! So glad for you that its all over - you must be on top of the world! I had that feeling last year after few nasty procedures and being told I dont have to go back for 5 years!
Does make you view life differently though doesnt it? - you want to kind of get every bit out of life that you can!
Now you can just relax and enjoy your garden whilst you get over it all.
    Lovely pics!

  11. Linda, You must be relieved that it is all over.
Keyhole surgery has come on immensely, when I was nursing you would have been in hospital for at least a week for a gallbladder removal!
Enjoy your recovery time and take it easy...
