I sell painted furniture, plants and crafts, through a local retail shop, in my native Ireland, and wedding flowers from home. I am married to a lovely patient man and have a smashing little girl.     Oh, you are so right. Do we see the beauty of the world and, if we do, do we really appreciate it for what it is?

    The words of your first image give one food for serious thought. In all probability mostof us would wake up with very little, if anything at all. It is good to be reminded of things like this, as you have done so in this post, in the nicest of all possible ways.

    I think you are getting hooked on this! I did have a look but hadn't the patience to do more than that! So I enjoy the images you post instead... just love that tree by water, love photographing by water for the reflections, have some great pix from the Lakes.

    I was very touched by this post. I just found out that one of my friends that I follow her blog is from Joplin, Missouri where the terrible tornado hit. Her home is ok but they lost their business. Her name is Rita. Would you please pray for them. Her blog is: arefocusedlife.blogspot.com

    Dear Linda, your posts are always a joy to view.
    I take nothing for granted these days. This is something that I keep telling my 19 year old son to do, but I feel it comes more as we age. However, it is nice to be reminded that we should count our blessings.

    Wonderful words and images. As I visit your blog I find more and more lovely things to enjoy! I love the pictures you have on your side bar under the title Things I Love - as I look at them I keep thinking 'so do I!!' And I do love your header picture with the glass domes and flowers too.
