Some other lovely flowers soon to be in my home.........yay, I am so excited! I have won another giveaway, yes me, who NEVER wins anything! It was on my first visit to Mary Poppins, a lovely blog dedicated to crafty things and Shabby Chic living. Mary also makes and sells lovely bags, lavender hearts etc. on Etsy. So thankyou so much Mary, I am thrilled to have won your gorgeous giveaway and shall wear it with pride!
Some lovely yellow roses from my garden and fabulous Peonies brought to me by my other sister Tracey. I am a very lucky girl today!
I would also like to share with you some lovely bunting made by the very clever Wendy fom 15 Coast Road she made it from old tea-towels and backed it with vintage fabric. As usual with everything that Wendy does it is beautifully made. She sent me a gorgeous little card of a sailing boat that she had made, which so reminds me of her blog and where she lives and 2 beautiful little tags that I need to find a special home for. Thankyou Wendy I am delighted!

Linda, So happy you came to the party!
ReplyDeleteAren't you lucky to have such generous sisters?
I am a touch envious of the beautiful roses everyone seems to have in their homes. Must be better gardener.
And peonies ready to pop? You've got it all going on!
xo Jane
Hello Linda:
ReplyDeleteYour Roses are indeed lovely and yes, so important to have scent. It is so disappointing, we feel, to see lovely old-fashioned Roses but without a trace of perfume. It just does not seem right to us.
And how wonderful to have won such a beautiful 'Mary Poppins' bag! We never win anything either so we can well imagine your excitement!
Dear Linda, those flowers are just gorgeous indeed, as is that beautiful rosy bag you won in the giveaway! Wendy is so clever ~ that bunting is just amazing ~ you are indeed a blessed blogger! :) Hope you have a lovely week! Love Brenda
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your blog! Linda, I love your roses... you have created a fantastic "place" and I shall be following!

LOve all thos beautiful craftings! excellent!
ReplyDeleteSo many fun beauties in your house! I swoon :)
ReplyDeleteI am so envious of all you bloggers who have roses in your garden. They just don't grow well for me at all, apart from one which is a very pale pink/cream growing over an archway. And even that has rust spots and whitefly!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more! flowers snipped from a garden and thrown in a pitcher are the best. Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers from your sister put into the blue jug is simple but a very sweet and striking arrangement. Congratulations on your win!
ReplyDeleteI love roses from the garden, so much nicer than the shop bought one's. Congratulations on your win! A lovely prize and your bunting is wonderful too, I will definitely be checking out the blogs you mention.
ReplyDeleteI am always touched by the kind comments you leave on my posts, thank you again!
I hope you are feeling much better after being in hospital last week. I am sure the flowers and visits from your Sisters will have cheered you up. Love Abby x
Beautiful roses Linda. Wish I had sisters! Well done on winning the Mary Poppins bag. It's so sweet. Peonies are just so amazing, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteYou're a lucky girl indeed - what lovely roses! and peonies to come. Jealousy here
ReplyDeleteSome lovely things here Linda - that bunting is just shouting out "Summer"!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your concern re the snake...I am surprisingly calm about the whole thing! I haven't seen it for a few days so it's a bit of 'out of sight out of mind'
x
